Ukrainian fans sang their traditional chant about Russian
dictator Vladimir Putin in Munich ahead of Ukraine’s first Euro 2024 match,
according to the Bombardyr Telegram
channel on June 17.
Ukrainian fans gathered in Munich to watch the game between
Romania and Ukraine.
On their way to the stadium, the fans sang a legendary chant called Putin — khuylo (Putin is sh*t).
Andriy Shevchenko earlier called on Euro 2024 participating
countries to help Ukraine during the war with Russia.
At the 2024 European Championship, which will last until
July 14, the Ukrainian national team will play in the same group as Romania,
Slovakia, and Belgium.
On June 17 at 10 p.m. EEST, a match between the national
teams of Belgium and Slovakia will take place in Group E.
The former Romanian national team player made a
disappointing prediction for Ukraine at Euro 2024.
