Russian missile hits Donbas hospital during surgery — video
Russia attacked a hospital in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, while a surgery was underway there on Jan. 6, as seen in a video the Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, posted on Telegram.
The footage appears to have been taken inside the operating room, showing the work of doctors, with a large explosion disrupting the surgery moments later.
The Center for Strategic Communication reported that the patient and medical staff were evacuated, but they were injured by glass shards.
Russians fired eight S-300 missiles at the Pokrovsk District on Jan. 6. According to the Interior Ministry, 11 people were killed, including a three-year-old girl and her parents in the village of Rivne. Donetsk regional governor Vadym Filashkin said on Jan. 8 that five children were among the dead.
