Drone attack in Odesa kills 2 internally displaced Ukrainians who fled from Bakhmut

A couple who had to flee their home in the Donetsk Oblast town of Bakhmut when it was attacked by Russian invasion forces have been killed by a Shahed suicide drone in their place of refuge — the city of Odesa.
The Russian military attacked Odesa Oblast with Shahed drones during the night of June 9-10, killing three people, including the IDP couple, locals announced on Facebook.
A blast wave from an exploding drone warhead killed Yuliya and Yuriy Antonenko from Bakhmut, who moved to Odesa to escape the hostilities, locals reported.
The couple had recently moved their parents to the southern Ukrainian city as well, and they were being escorted home at night when they were struck by debris from a shot-down drone.
They were in a hurry to get home because there was little time left before the curfew. The couple had a 20-year-old daughter, Mira.
Russian forces attacked Odesa Oblast overnight on June 9-10 with eight Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones. All were shot down by air defense forces. Three people were killed and 26 injured.
Among the civilians injured were two children and a pregnant woman.
