Casualty toll climbs to 28 in Donetsk market shelling, Russians claim
The number of fatalities in the shelling of the Donetsk market has rise to 28, Russian occupation “authorities” claim.
This is up from the 25 killed claimed by Denis Pushilin, the Russian gauleiter and Kremlin puppet in the so-called “DPR”.
Donetsk’s Kirovsky district market was shelled on the morning of January 21, with Russian occupation authorities blaming the shelling on the Ukrainian military.
Ukraine has a stated policy of not targeting civilians and of taking extra precaution in operations in or near Russian-occupied Ukrainian cities.
Photos and videos from the shelling show bloodied bodies of people. Russians claimed in the video that Russian soldiers were also present at the scene.
