Ukraine's national team forward competes for prestigious award at Euro 2024

UEFA selected contenders for the title of the best goal of the second round of Euro 2024 group stage, they are: Roman Yaremchuk (Ukraine), Morten Juhlmand (Denmark), Xherdan Shaqiri (Switzerland) and Gernot Trauter (Austria), UEFA reported on X on June 22.
Among the nominees is a goal by Ukraine's forward Roman Yaremchuk against Slovakia. In that match, the forward skillfully took an assist from Shaparenko and pushed the ball past the goalkeeper with his second touch.
Yaremchuk's goal was not only spectacular, but also effective, as it brought Ukraine its first victory in the tournament.
