Zelenskyy visits troops in Zaporizhzhya Oblast
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has
visited troops deployed along the frontline in southern
Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the president said in a Telegram post on Sept. 4.
The head of state said he had been at the command posts of combat brigades of the Tavria operational group.
Zelenskyy met with defenders from the 148th Artillery Brigade, the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, and the 71st Jaeger Brigade.
As noted by the President's Office press service, Zelenskyy also visited “stabilization points” where wounded soldiers receive medical aid. He spoke with soldiers and combat medics there, awarding them with the Order for Courage.
In his evening address, the president stressed the importance of hearing directly from the people who are going into battle – what they lack, what they have enough of, and what needs to be changed. He promised that all the points brought up by the defenders would be discussed at General Staff meetings.
Zelenskyy singled out the concerns he heard regarding electronic warfare and anti-drone equipment: We heard everything, guys.”
Earlier on Sept. 4, the president visited Ukrainian military command posts in Donbas.
