Russia fails to occupy single Ukrainian village in 2023, says Zelenskyy

Russia has been unable to occupy a single Ukrainian village in 2023, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Fox News on Dec. 12.
"It was so difficult for us to do, but I think, it is the most important thing to understand," Zelenskyy said.
“Ukraine has only one enemy—Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. We are really defending democracy, and we are really defending freedom.”
The West must not waste time, and must continue to support Ukraine, Zelenskyy said.
"We showed success on the Black Sea. That was a very difficult operation, and we now created the grain route,” Zelenskyy said.
“Russia doesn't have any influence on this grain route, and we destroyed most of the Russian fleet that was situated in our waters, near our temporarily occupied Crimea. That was very good. I think that's a huge result.”
Ukraine’s 24th King Danylo Separate Mechanized Brigade has successfully liberated part of Horlivka, Donetsk Oblast, held by the enemy since 2014, Zelenskyy said on Dec. 12.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through two of the three Russian defense lines around the area, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said in an interview with Fox News on Dec. 5, adding that Ukraine has a comprehensive plan for military operations in 2024.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
