Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi congratulate Ukrainian paratroopers on Air Assault Forces Day

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Chief General Valerii Zaluzhnyi congratulated Ukrainian military personnel on the occasion of Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Day, celebrated on Nov. 21.
"(Paratroopers are) extremely powerful warriors who perform extremely difficult tasks," the president wrote on Telegram.
“Always in special areas of the frontline, always achieving particularly important results for Ukraine. I am grateful for the bravery of every soldier, every sergeant, every officer of the Air Assault Forces. Ukraine is proud of you.”
Zelenskyy accompanied his congratulations with the photos of paratroopers on duty.
Meanwhile, General Zaluzhnyi wrote on Facebook that, "Ukrainian paratroopers are always on the most difficult parts of the front.”
“Always where victory is! ... I am proud of the invincible knights of Archangel Michael! Brave and wise, noble and courageous — this is about the elite of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — Ukrainian paratroopers!" Zaluzhnyi wrote.
Additionally, Zaluzhnyi paid tribute to the memory of all paratroopers who sacrificed their lives in the war against Russia. Zaluzhnyi accompanied his congratulations with a video featuring footage of Ukrainian paratroopers.
