Zelenskyy arrives in Warsaw for key talks with Polish PM Tusk
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Warsaw, where he is scheduled to meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the President's Office reported on July 8.
The meetings between Zelenskyy and Tusk will take place face-to-face, with participation from their respective delegations in an expanded format.
Their agenda includes the signing of a cooperation agreement on security between Ukraine and Poland.
Discussions are expected to encompass defense collaboration, Ukraine's path to EU accession, the upcoming NATO summit, Poland's role in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts, trade enhancement, and humanitarian initiatives.
In Washington, a three-day NATO summit beginning on July 9-11, 2024, will feature leaders from all 32 NATO member countries, marking the first time since Sweden and Finland joined the alliance. The summit's central theme will focus on Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine, with Zelenskyy attending as a guest.
