Upcoming Ukrainian counter-offensive maybe not last one, says FM Kuleba

The upcoming Ukrainian counter-offensive may not be the last one of the war, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview to German newspaper Bild on May 10.
“Don’t consider this counter-offensive as the last one as we don’t know what will come of it.”
According to Kuleba, if Ukraine fails, it will mean “that we have to prepare for the next counter-offensive.”
“If we succeed in this counter-offensive and liberate our territories, then you will say: yes, it was the last one, but if not, that means we have to prepare for the next counter-offensive,” the minister said.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said on April 28 that preparations for the counter-offensive are in the home stretch.
Previously, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar announced that Ukrainian defenders are already conducting limited counterattacks in the eastern Ukraine.
Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, said on May 9 that the final plans for the Ukrainian counter-offensive, including the terms and directions of troop advancement, have not yet been approved by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
