Ukrainian SBU drones strike military targets in Russia's Krasnodar Krai — NV sources

Ukraine’s SBU security service confirmed targeting an airfield and oil refineries in Russia's Krasnodar Krai with drones in a comment to NV on April 27.
Russian Defense Ministry earlier claimed an attack by over 60 drones in Krasnodar Krai. NV sources have now confirmed that the attack was carried out by the SBU in collaboration with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The night before Saturday became explosively eventful for the military airfield in Kuschevsk, as well as for the Ilsky and Slaviansk-ECO oil refineries in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia," sources reported.
"Explosions in these facilities are courtesy of SBU drones."
The Kuschevsk airfield housed dozens of military aircraft, radars, and electronic warfare equipment.
SBU drones also targeted the rectification and atmospheric columns of the Ilsky and Slaviansk-ECO oil refineries.
"These are key technological facilities of the plants," SBU sources said.
"After the strikes on the airfield and refineries, fires broke out and personnel were evacuated."
The SBU emphasized their continued effectiveness in targeting military and infrastructure objects behind enemy lines, reducing Russia's potential for waging war.
"Things are burning and will continue to burn in the terrorist state," the SBU said.
Videos of nighttime explosions in the region are circulating online. Russian sources reported strikes on refineries in the region and several other objects.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces allegedly shot down 66 "Ukrainian drones" over the territory of Krasnodar Krai in the morning, as well as two more UAVs over the occupied Crimea.
