The Ukrainian military successfully repelled an enemy assault towards the village of Dolyna on the Slovyansk axis, throwing the invading troops back, said the General Staff in its Facebook report on July 5.
The Russian army also opened fire with artillery near 10 settlements.
On the Kharkiv axis, the Russian forces are concentrating their main efforts on holding the occupied frontiers and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.
The aggressors shelled the areas of five settlements with artillery, rocket launchers, and tanks.
