Ukrainian Air Force destroys four enemy Shahed drones in Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts
Ukrainian defenders dealt a significant blow to the enemy on July 30 in Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts in the south and east of the country, shooting down four hostile Shahed attack drones, the Ukrainian Air Force has reported on Telegram.
The invaders launched their attack from the southeastern direction using four tactical UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type, the air force said.
Thanks to the swift and effective response of the Air Force, all enemy drones were successfully neutralized within the airspaces of Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, Ukraine’s air force said.
In addition, on July 29, the anti-aircraft defense forces eliminated four reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level, the air force said.
In the regular morning briefing at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military confirmed that Russia had conducted a nighttime strike on Ukraine using Shahed drones.
“During the night, the Russian Federation once again launched an attack on Ukraine using Iranian-made Shahed UAVs. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being verified,” an official statement from the General Staff reads
