Massive Russian missile attack kills 31, injures 125 in Ukraine

A massive Russian missile attack on July 8 damaged 50 civilian structures, including residential buildings, a business center, and two medical facilities, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported on Telegram.
The State Emergency Service reported that as of 3:30 p.m., 20 people were killed and 61 others injured in Kyiv alone.
Overall, the attack claimed 31 lives and injured 125 people across Ukraine.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that as of 3 p.m., 28 people were reported dead:
- 11 in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
- 17 in Kyiv
Klymenko also reported that 112 people were injured:
- 62 in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
- 48 in Kyiv city
- 2 in Kyiv Oblast
Emergency rescue operations are ongoing at the sites of the largest impacts.

In the morning and afternoon of July 8, Russia launched a series of massive strikes at Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and other Ukrainian cities. This is one of the largest and most severe attacks on Ukraine since the beginning of the year.
The missiles were allegedly launched by Tu-95, Tu-22, and MiG-31K aircraft, and ballistic missiles were also reported from Crimea.
Russia attacked the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, with two deaths reported. Russian troops also hit a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, where there are people under the rubble.
The enemy attack also killed ten people and wounded more than 40 in Kryvyi Rih.
