Ukraine’s air defense forces intercept Kh-59 missile and seven drones overnight

Ukrainian air defense destroyed an Kh-59 cruise missile and seven Russian Shahed suicise drones overnight on July 27, the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk reported on Telegram.
Russia attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59 guided missile from the airspace over the Black Sea, as well as eight Shahed attack UAVs from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The forces and means of the mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and electronic warfare units of the Air Force shot down a Kh-59 missile and seven drones.
Almost all air targets were destroyed in Odesa Oblast.
An air raid alert was declared in a number of regions of Ukraine due to the launch of enemy drones overnight on July 27. The Air Force reported the operation of air defense in Odesa Oblast.
