Ukrainian Defense Ministry vows to repel Russian fleet in Crimean Black Sea waters

The Ukrainian military is fully equipped to prevent the Russian Black Sea Fleet from operating near Crimea, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Volodymyr Havrylov declared on Telegram messenger on July 21.
“We now have this sort of capability, in comparison to how the war began,” stated Havrylov.
“And they will only grow. These capabilities will allow us to fulfill the ambition I spoke of last year: to drive the entire Black Sea Fleet closer to Tuapse and Novorossiysk and restrict [Russian] movements within the Crimean zone.”
He further disclosed that Ukraine’s capabilities extend beyond the Neptune anti-ship systems believed to have sunk the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s flagship, the cruiser Moskva, on April 14, 2022.
“Our strength in this matter has grown compared to a year ago, and we continue to make further progress in this direction,” affirmed Havrylov.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
