First in world history - Ukraine creates fleet of maritime drones

Ukraine is set to possess the world's first fleet of maritime drones, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced during the International Defense Industries Forum. This innovative idea renders Russian military ships ineffective and forces them into hiding.
Ukraine has also commenced the production of its own 155-caliber NATO-standard artillery pieces and shells, essential for battlefield operations. Ukrainian anti-tank guided missile systems have a "longer-range and are safer to operate than a whole range of comparative systems.”
Ukraine had previously developed an experimental surface drone known as the "Sea Baby," which carried out an attack on the Kerch Bridge in occupied Crimea and inflicted damage on the ‘Samum’ Russian missile ship in Sevastopol. The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) successfully deployed this drone in at least three special operations.
President Zelensky initially announced plans for the creation of a Ukrainian fleet of maritime drones and started collecting funds for it back in November 2022.
