Ukraine downs all ten Russia-launched Shahed drones over two oblasts in overnight attack - Air Force
Air defense forces destroyed all ten Shahed 131/136-type kamikaze drones, launched against Ukraine overnight on June 18, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported on Telegram on June 18.
The drones were launched from Russia's Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
All drones were shot down over Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Ukraine's Defense Forces' mobile fire groups and air defense units were engaged in repelling the attack.
Russia plans to produce 6,000 Shahed-type drones per year, in addition to surveillance drones, at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on May 28, referring to a contract leaked by the Prana Network hacker group.
