Sweden set to announce ‘historically large’ military aid package to Ukraine worth $700 million
Sweden is set to announce a historically large package of military aid to Ukraine worth 7.1 billion krona ($700 million) on Feb. 20, Dagens Nyheter reported.
This 15th aid package from Sweden to Ukraine will contain military vehicles and equipment from the Swedish Armed Forces. Exactly what is included in the package has not yet been disclosed.
Sweden also plans to allocate funds to purchase new military equipment from manufacturers with their later transfer to Ukraine. An official aid announcement is expected at a press conference attended by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Defense Minister Paul Jonsson.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
