Five passengers smuggling parts for Soviet military vehicles detained in Chisinau Airport

Five passengers aged between 30 and 57 were detained in Moldova by Chisinau Airport customs officers while trying to smuggle parts for Soviet military vehicles to Istanbul in their luggage, Moldovan Newsmaker reported on Nov. 22, citing law enforcement officials.
The parts were confiscated and a criminal case was opened. The investigation is being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime.
There are no details about what kind of vehicle parts the detained people were carrying.
