School, kindergarten damaged in Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih, no casualties reported

Russia launched a drone and missile attack targeting Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight causing a multi-story building to catch fire, according to the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, on Sept. 19.
"The fire has already been extinguished. The explosive shockwave damaged the facades of three high-rise buildings and shattered many windows and doors in other structures, as well as in a school and kindergarten. There were no casualties as a result of the attack," Vikul said.
"All infrastructure, transportation, and facilities are operating normally. Moreover, all water supply restrictions in Kryvyi Rih have been lifted as of today."
One Russian drone was shot down over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. In the Nikopol district, Russian forces shelled the town of Nikopol and the Marganets community with heavy artillery fire.
A 71-year-old man was injured in the attack. Six private houses, an outbuilding, a garage, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
During the night of the Russian attack, explosions were also reported in Odesa, Lviv, and Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
