Russian forces ramp up civilians' cars seizures in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast - National Resistance

Russians have stepped up civilian cars' confiscation in the occupied part of Ukraine’s Luhansk Oblast, marking a new wave of brazen seizures, the National Resistance Center (NRC) reported on June 20.
Even minor traffic violations can result in vehicle confiscation - moreover, citizens can lose their cars because of mere suspicion in some cases.
“This practice isn't new in the temporarily occupied territories,” NRC said.
“Luhansk Oblast's residents have already witnessed transport seizures, but it was mostly about specialized vehicles like excavators, tractors, or even boats.”
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
