The Russian
army has bombed the center of the border village Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy
Oblast, reported the head of the Velyka Pysarivka community, Lyudmyla Biryukova
on Facebook on March 17.
"Today the enemy destroyed the center of Velyka Pysarivka,” Biryukova said.
‘I hope that everybody will conclude that life is the most valuable thing and decide to evacuate."
She also added that information about evacuation will be provided by phone and online.
"I ask you to evacuate from the territory the enemy is ruthlessly destroying," she urged.
Russian troops have been shelling the settlements of Sumy Oblast with various types of weapons on a daily basis.
On March 14, the head of the Joint MIlitary Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, reported that, in the previous two days alone, Russians had fired 800 times at Sumy Oblast, the same number of times as last year in six months.
