Russian troops accidentally film themselves blowing up while joyriding through Ukrainian field
Russian invaders taking an armored vehicle for a joyride through a Ukrainian field might be frontrunners for this year’s Darwin Award after appearing in a hilarious video on social media on June 12.
While clearly enjoying the ride, the ending likely wasn’t so happy after the crew drove over a landmine.
The footage shows about a dozen Russians pathetically posing with their imperial flag sitting on their MT-LB armored fighting vehicle. As the undisciplined soldiers hoot and holler, a large blast occurs suddenly, interrupting the video.
The Darwin Awards “honor those who tip chlorine into our gene pool, by accidentally removing their own DNA from it during the spectacular climax of a ‘great idea’ gone (very, very) wrong,” the sites website explains.
The fate of the soldiers in the video and camera operator is currently unknown.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
