Russian Defense Ministry claims to down five drones over Bryansk Oblast, Crimea

Russian air defense shot down five "Ukrainian" drones over Bryansk Oblast and Crimea overnight on Nov. 15-16, the Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed in a post on Telegram.
The department claims that air defense systems destroyed two UAVs over Bryansk Oblast. Three more drones were allegedly intercepted over the Black Sea off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea.
At the same time, the governor of Kursk Oblast, Roman Starovoit, reported shelling allegedly from "the side of Ukraine."
"The Sudzhansky district was shelled with rockets from Ukraine. Hits were recorded near the village of Martynovka," Starovoit wrote on Telegram.
He noted that "house-to-house visits are being conducted to clarify information about the destruction."
Starovoit added that there is no electricity supply in Martynovka and the neighboring villages of Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Kazachya Loknya.
There have been several alleged drone attacks in Russia and in Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine in recent days.
On Nov. 16, local Telegram channels reported that an explosion had occurred in Sevastopol.
On Nov. 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a drone attack. Later, reports emerged of an attack on a chemical plant in Bryansk Oblast.
On Nov. 11, Russians reported a drone attack on Kolomna, Moscow Oblast. Local media reported damage to the buildings of the Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering, which produces Kinzhal areo-ballistic missiles.
