Russian forces are actively preparing for large-scale battles in Kherson Oblast and have been relocating command posts from Henichesk to the Dzhankoy district in Crimea, the guerilla movement Atesh reported on Telegram on Oct. 16.
An Atesh agent pointed out that there have already been two instances of Russian command posts being relocated.
Agents have also documented an intensification of the transfer of enemy military equipment and ammunition to the mainland of Ukraine from Crimea.
Partisans have noticed a train carrying:
· Up to 20 wagons of ammunition
· Five armored personnel carriers (BTR)
· Ten URAL trucks
· Eight 152-caliber artillery guns, and much more.
“We will do everything to prevent this equipment from reaching its destination,” the partisan movement said.
Previously, Atesh partisans reported that the enemy have initiated preparations for the defense of the temporarily occupied Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast.
The partisans added that Russian forces were deploying rare Grad rocket systems to the front line.
