Poland arrests nine suspects for committing sabotage for Russia in Poland and the Baltic States

Polish special services arrested nine people suspected of sabotage ordered by Russia in Poland and other countries, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on TVN24 on May 20.
"Currently, we have arrested nine suspects who have been charged with direct participation in sabotage in Poland at the request of Russian services," he said.
"This applies to beatings, arson, and attempted arson."
The suspects are mercenaries from Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland, and the case also concerns events in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, he said.
An international investigation is ongoing.
Tusk provided examples of the sabotage, including an attempt to set fires at a paint factory in Wroclaw, Poland, and an IKEA in Lithuania.
He described the sabotage as "very serious."
"It was ordered by the Russian services, which has already been undoubtedly said," Tusk said.
Russia plans to interfere in the European Parliament elections and to sabotage Poland and other countries, Tusk said on May 14.
