Ukrainian forces destroyed the Russian Tapir-class (NATO: Alligator) landing ship Orsk of the Black Sea Fleet, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Navy, who also posted a clip of the burning ship on Facebook.
Russian propaganda had previously reported that the Orsk was engaged in the delivery of military equipment.
According to volunteers from the Ukrainian open-source intelligence group InformNapalm, Orsk took part in the Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014.
