7 injured, including 10-year-old boy after Russia strikes Sumy with Shahed drones
At least seven people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy, after Russia targeted Sumy in a series of Shahed drone strikes early on March 6, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported.
"Sumy was attacked by Shahed-type UAVs overnight,” the administration reported on Telegram.
“Unfortunately, there were three strikes in different parts of the city."
Medical assistance is being provided to the wounded. Emergency response services are on-site evaluating the damage from the strikes.
Response teams will be deployed to the locations struck by Russian shelling to address the aftermath starting at 8:00 a.m., the Sumy City Administration announced at 2:55 a.m.
Explosions also rocked Odesa overnight, leaving parts of the city without power amid Shahed attacks.
