Russian drone attacks hit northern Ukraine, Kyiv Air Defense takes out all targets

Russian forces launched drone strikes on northern Ukraine overnight, but none reached their target in Kyiv and were shot down on the approach to the capital, Kyiv Governor Serhii Popko reported on Telegram on July 4.
No casualties or damage from the overnight attack were reported in Oblast.
Explosions could be heard in Kyiv at about 4 a.m. EET.
The Air Force earlier reported the drones movement in the following areas:
- Near Boryspil, moving to the west
- On the border of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts, heading west/southwest
- Sumy Oblast's southern part, moving to the west
- In Kharkiv Oblast's western part, heading southward.
Ukrainian military also warned of potential missile threat in Ukraine's eastern oblasts.
The drone threat was lifted at about 6 a.m.
