Russian bomber and fighter jet reach Belarus, Belarusian Hajun monitoring group confirms
Russia has recently deployed a bomber and a fighter jet to Belarus, the Belarusian Hajun monitoring group reported on Telegram on Nov. 9.
Over the past two months, these aircraft have been relocated to Belarus, with the monitoring group noting a slight increase in Russian Aerospace Forces activity in the country during October.
According to their data as of Nov. 1, several Russian aircraft are currently stationed in Belarus:
- 1 Su-25 at the Lida airfield;
- 2 Su-24M/MR at the Baranovichi airfield;
- 1 Su-30SM at the Baranavichy airfield.
“The increase occurred due to the arrival of Su-24M/MR and Su-30SM aircraft in Belarus in September-October,” the monitoring group explained
Earlier reports from Oleksandr Shtupun, Tavria front defense forces spokesperson, indicated an up tick in assault aviation activity by the invaders in the Avdiivka and Maryinka areas, utilizing Ka-52 and Mi-8 helicopters, along with Su-25 attack aircraft.
