Russia moving troops, equipment from Melitopol to Crimea – guerrillas

The Russian military has been observed relocating equipment to the temporarily occupied Crimea in response to a recent successful operation by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against the occupiers in Melitopol, the Atesh partisan movement reported on Telegram on July 24.
Atesh agents reported the movement of military trucks, tractors, and other equipment from Melitopol to Crimea. The Russians are continuing to supply their troops on the frontlines. However, the partisans noted that this level of support may not be sustainable for long.
On July 9, the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported a powerful explosion in the northern part of the occupied city, indicating that a Russian military base was likely targeted.
Later, Fedorov mentioned that the aggressor country, Russia, is increasing its military presence in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya Oblast to maintain a land corridor to Ukrainian Crimea.
On July 13, he announced that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had successfully carried out operations against the enemy positions of Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Tokmak in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, along the path to Melitopol.
Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar, emphasized on July 24 that since the beginning of the counteroffensive, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have liberated nearly 230 square kilometers of territory from Russian occupation forces, including over 192 square kilometers in the southern part of the country.
