‘Another restless night’ as Russia targets hospital in Kherson Oblast, residential areas in other parts of Ukraine

Russia launched another air raid during the night of Oct. 2, using drones and bombs to strike several regions in southern and eastern Ukraine, said Southern Defense Forces spokesperson, Nataliya Humenyuk.
Bombs were dropped over Kherson Oblast, hitting a hospital and an agro-industrial enterprise. Three drones were also shot down in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. No casualties have yet been reported.
"The night was restless again; Russia dropped 18 bombs in total. The enemy used both drone strike attacks and tactical aviation, sending aerial bombs over the Kherson Oblast," Humenyuk said.
"This is again directed at civil infrastructure, at residential areas. Both a hospital and emergency infrastructure facilities were damaged.”
The aim of the Russian drones, on the other hand, was to collect reconnaissance of (Ukrainian) air defense systems, Humenyuk said.
"They were released from the southeastern direction, from the Azov coast. They were directed along an unusual route, mainly through occupied Kherson Oblast," Humenyuk said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
