Russian airstrike hits Kherson, injuring two, including teenager — photo, video
Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on Kherson, injuring two people, including a 17-year-old teenager, city and Oblast governors, Roman Mrochko and Oleksandr Prokudin, said on Telegram on Feb. 2.
Both victims were hospitalized.
Russia’s attack damaged multi-story and private residential buildings in the city center, said Mrochko.
A 73-year-old woman was injured in her yard at the time of the attack. She was hospitalized with a concussion and shrapnel wound, he said.
Prokudin shared video footage of the initial moments after the Russian airstrike on the city.
Russia targeted residential buildings in the central part, partially destroying a three-story building and damaging nearby houses, he said.
