Russian drone attack repelled, all UAVs shot down – Ukraine Air Force

Air raid alarms sounded six times on Aug. 25, as Russia launched a number of MiG-31K jet fighters, as well as two Shahed-136/131 strike drones, the Ukrainian Air Force reported in Telegram.
The UAVs were launched from the southeast direction. Both targets were successfully shot down by air defense over eastern Kharkiv Oblast.
Meanwhile, takeoffs of Russian MiG-31K fighter jets from the Savasleyka air base in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast caused the numerous air raid alarms, as these aircraft can be equipped with hypersonic Kh-47 Kinzhal missile. No launches of this missile was detected, however, the military noted.
Previously, Natalia Humeniuk, press spokesperson for the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South, explained that the increasing number of MiG fighter takeoffs is due to the enemy testing Ukrainian air defense capabilities.
