Russia can mobilize 30,000 troops monthly – UA’s intell chief
Russia has the capability to mobilize about 30,000 individuals per month, said Ukraine’s military intelligence chief Gen. Kyrylo Budanov in The Wall Street Journal interview on Feb. 21.
This startling capability highlights the ongoing intensity of the conflict.
Budanov provided an estimate of the Russian military presence in the region. The hostile forces amount to 510,000 soldiers, both within and surrounding Ukraine. Russia aims to sow discord within Ukrainian society and its Armed Forces, alongside military attacks, according to him.
1,130 Russian soldiers were neutralized in Ukraine in the last 24 hours alone, reported the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a related update.
The total Russian military casualties since the onset of their full-scale invasion have now surpassed 406,000, marking a significant toll in this protracted conflict. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia's military losses have exceeded 406,000.
