Russia attacks Ukraine overnight, killing two in Zaporizhzhya and hitting Odesa’s historic city center

Air alarms awoke Ukrainians in eastern, southern, and central Ukraine, including in the capital of Kyiv, in the early hours of Aug. 14.
Two people were killed in a Russian attack on residential buildings near Zaporizhzhya. Three people were rescued from the rubble.
Russia also initiated a three-wave assault on Odesa, utilizing a combination of missiles and drones. Air Force Command confirmed the successful downing of eight Kalibr missiles and 15 Shahed drones near the city.
A supermarket located near Odesa city center was destroyed, as was a dormitory in an educational institution. Three supermarket workers were injured in the attack.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
