One killed, eight injured after Russia hits central Ukraine’s Kropyvnytskyi with X-59 missiles

At least one civilian is dead and eight are injured after a Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kropyvnytskyi on Jan. 4, reported Kirovohrad Oblast governor Andriy Raikovych.
Several energy enterprises were damaged in the attack, likely by a Russian X-59 missile, he said.
The person that died in the attack worked as a car mechanic. The injured were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.
Rescuers are currently on site, while the damaged buildings are being inspected.
A fire to a car has been extinguished.
Kropyvnytskyi’s transmission tower was also damaged, resulting in power and water supply outage in some neighborhoods. Power and water have been restored.
Explosions rocked city in the morning when an industrial business was hit.
Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones at night on Jan. 4. Two Shakheds were eliminated.
Kharkiv and Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast were targeted as well, with a school and a kindergarten destroyed in Kurakhove.
