Number of injured in Russian strike at Pavlohrad rises to 34, including five children
The number of people injured in a Russian missile strike at the town of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, overnight on May 1 has risen to 34, including five children, regional governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram.
The youngest girl injured in the Russian attack is eight years old.
Two women aged 45 and 55 are in intensive care, while the rest of the injured are being treated as outpatients, he added.
“People have bruises, fractures, cuts and lacerations, concussions, and poisoning by combustion products,” Lysak said.
Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine on May 1, the second in three days. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 15 out of 18 cruise missiles.
The Russians managed to hit an industrial enterprise, 19 high-rise buildings, 25 private houses, six schools and kindergartens, and five shops in Pavlohrad.
