At least 20 buildings lost their roofs as Mykolaiv suffered significant damage following Russia’s latest mass missile and drone attack early on Feb. 7, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich reported on Telegram.
Russia sent an onslaught of Iranian kamikaze drones and Russian air-launched missiles at the southern Ukrainian city, said Mykolaiv Oblast Governor Vitaliy Kim.
A man was injured in the attack and has received medical attention, said Kim.
Several others were injured, though authorities are still determining the exact numbers, said Senkevich.
The attack disrputed gas and water supply networks; utility workers are currently determining the extent.
An infrastructure facility was destroyed and a technical structure caught fire, though the blaze has sincebeen extinguished.
