Ukrainian troops advancing in Kharkiv Oblast, infographic shows

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing to pursue an active counter-offensive in Kharkiv Oblast, and a number of settlements have already been recaptured.
This NV infographic shows which territories were liberated from Sept. 1-9.
On Sept. 8, the Ukrainian Armed Forces raised the national flag in several settlements in the oblast, such as Balakliya, Volokhiv Yar, Ivanivka, Borshchivka, and Shevchenkivske.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that since Sept. 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated more than 1,000 square kilometers and dozens of settlements from the invading Russian forces.
