Germany will send additional 64 guided missiles for Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine

Germany will “immediately” provide Ukraine with additional 64 guided missiles for U.S.-made Patriot air defense systems, German television news channel n-tv quoted the country’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius as saying on June 16.
“This is a very important sign of continued support for the successful efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to provide air defense, especially now, in this particular phase of the war,” he said during the NATO meeting in Brussels.
Ukraine received its first Patriot systems from the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany by April 19, with the first Patriot air defense division starting service four days later.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for the creation of a “Patriot coalition.”
Meanwhile, Amsterdam is negotiating the supply of additional systems.
The Danish, Dutch, and UK defense ministries, in conjunction with the United States Department of Defense, announced on June 15 that they were partnering together to deliver high priority air defense equipment to Ukraine.
