Zelenskyy and top officials targeted by fake Telegram channels - Center for Countering Disinformation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, and SBU Chief Vasyl Maliuk's fake profiles appeared online, Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) reported on May 19.
The CCD reminded users that Zelenskyy, the First Lady, and Yermak all have official, verified accounts marked with a verification badge (blue checkmark).
As for Vasyl Maliuk, his activities are covered via the official verified Telegram channel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the statement added.
The Center stressed that all other channels claiming to represent these officials are fake.
In some cases, the CCD noted, these fake channels are created by repurposing old crypto exchange groups and simply renaming them.
