Explosions in occupied Berdyansk — mayor
A series of explosions were heard across
the occupied city of Berdyansk,
Zaporizhzhya Oblast, city Mayor Ivan Fedorov said in a Telegram post on Aug.
29.
"Residents of the currently-occupied Berdyansk report powerful explosions," Fedorov wrote.
Simultaneously, Telegram channel Berdyansk Today states that at least one explosion was heard almost throughout all the municipal districts, and an air raid alarm is sounding in the port.
Other social media reports suggested that Russian air defenses were active in the city.
Previously, media reports indicated that a Russian ship had entered the port of Berdyansk.
