EU spokesperson confirms Ukraine’s military actions won’t affect EU accession progress
Ukraine’s military operations in Russia’s Kursk Oblast will
not affect its EU accession path European Union, as Kyiv has every right to self-defense
against an aggressor, EU spokesperson Peter Stano said on Aug. 20.
Stano emphasized that the fighting on Russian territory is solely the result of the illegal actions of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
“Ukraine has every right to defend itself, and this has no
connection to the EU accession process, as that is a separate path being forged
between Ukraine and the European Union,” Stano said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
