Four people, including a 17-year-old teenager, were injured in the Russian missile attack on Kharkiv Oblast late on Jan. 24, which caused fires and destruction in the Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported on Telegram on Jan. 25.
The attack took place at around 9:30 p.m. EET and resulted in two fires.
An explosion in the village of Velyka Rohan destroyed two private houses and an outbuilding, and also set fire to two neighboring private houses and a car on a total area of 50 square meters.
Another missile hit a private enterprise in the village of Rozdolne, Novopokrovsk community, setting fire to two warehouses with a total area of 250 square meters, the Emergencies Ministry said.
The first fire was extinguished at 11:35 p.m., and the second at 05:18 a.m. EET.
Russia attacked Kharkiv three times on Jan. 23. One attack targeted residential buildings and completely destroyed the entryway of a high-rise complex. A total of 60 people were reported injured, including six children, with eight killed, including an eight-year-old girl.
Nine people were injured in a later attack.
Of the 41 missiles Russia fired into Ukraine on the morning of Jan. 23, 21 were shot down, Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi reported on Telegram.
