SBU detains TikToker for revealing air defence locations during massive Russian attack on Odesa

A 35-year-old resident of Odesa was detained for filming Ukrainian air defense repulsing the massive Russian drone attack on Nov. 5 and posting it on his TikTok page, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) reported on Telegram on Nov. 29.
The suspect had previously served a sentence for theft and robbery.
Within minutes, the video, which showed the exact time and place of the recording, was circulated among many social media users, including Russian intelligence and security agencies, which could adjust their further missile and drone attacks on Odesa.
The cell phone used by the detainee to illegally film and post the video was found during the search.
He is being held on suspicion of spreading information about the movement, location or position of the Armed Forces or other military formations (Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The detention measure is under consideration. He faces up to 8 years of imprisonment.
Eight people were injured after Russian forces twice fired at Odesa with kamikaze drones, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, and an Onyx supersonic missile on Nov. 5. The attack, which targeted vital port infrastructure and the historic center of Odesa, was described as extensive by Serhiy Bratchuk, an OVA spokesman.
