Kyiv energy worker found dead in shelter during air raid alert

A 43-year-old worker from a Kyiv energy company was found dead in a shelter during an air raid on June 23, the Energy Ministry reported on Telegram.
All the circumstances are currently being investigated.
The Energy Ministry reported that a broken wire and the body of a local resident were found near an overhead line support in one of the settlements in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The police have been called to the scene.
Russian strike on Ukraine on June 23
An air alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions due to a missile threat on the morning of June 23. The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that Russia launched cruise missiles, causing explosions in the capital and Kyiv Oblast, injuring two people.
Two of the three Kalibr cruise missiles launched by Russia from the Sea of Azov were shot down, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. Explosions were heard in both the capital and Kyiv Oblast.
The launch of a Kalibr missile from the Sea of Azov "marks a significant turning point" in Russian tactics because the enemy "considers it a safer area compared to the Black Sea," Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk said on national television on June 22.
DTEK announced that blackouts on June 23 will start earlier. According to Ukrenergo's instructions, the schedules will be in effect from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EET.
