Two drones attack aviation training center in Russia’s Voronezh Oblast

The Chkalov aviation training center on the outskirts of the city of Borisoglebsk in Russia’s Voronezh Oblast was attacked by two drones overnight, the Russian Telegram channel Astra wrote on April 9, adding that no casualties were reported.
Both drones exploded, causing damage to the facade and the windows of the building, Astra claimed.
According to open source intelligence, the base is home to the 160th Training Aviation Regiment which flies Su-25 and Yak-130 jets of the 786th Aviation Training Centre for the Training of Flight Personnel.
This follows an earlier report by the regional governor, Alexander Gusev. He claimed that the local air defense and electronic warfare systems had detected and intercepted an aircraft-type drone over the oblast.
