Ukraine must win the war against Russia, so international
partners must do “even more” to help Kyiv win, British Foreign Secretary David
Cameron and his French colleague Stéphane Séjourné wrote in a joint column for The Telegraph on April 7.
"If Ukraine loses, we all lose. The costs of failing to support Ukraine now will be far greater than the costs of repelling (Vladimir) Putin," said the diplomats.
France and the United Kingdom will reaffirm their unwavering support for Ukraine at the European Political Community Summit to be held in Germany in July and at the NATO summit in Washington.
The countries are proud of their support for Ukraine, including the delivery of Storm Shadow missiles and F-16 pilot training, but point out that more needs to be done.
"The world is watching – and will judge us if we fail," the column reads.
The Telegraph reported earlier that during his visit to Washington, Cameron will warn that the United States is risking the security of the West by delaying a new defense aid package for Ukraine.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
